DISCOUNTS

CATF offers several discounts. Please note, to receive any discount with an asterisk, you must call the Box Office. These discounts are not available online.

Senior Discount

If you are 65 years or older, you qualify for the senior discount. If you do not qualify, but someone in your party does, you are still able to redeem this discount for their tickets. You can receive the senior discount online or through the Box Office.

• Single Tickets – $67
• Rep5 Pass – $280
• Rep3 Pass – $171

Sunday Evening Performances

Tickets to all performances at or after 4pm on Sundays are $45. This discount automatically applies online and through the Box Office.

• Sunday Evening Single Ticket – $45

West Virginia Residents

If you are a West Virginia resident, you qualify for the West Virginia Weekday discount that unlocks $45 tickets for all performances on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This discount is only available through the Box Office. Please be prepared to provide your West Virginia address for verification.

• WV Weekday Single Tickets – $45

Blue Star Veteran Discount

Are you serving or have you served in the military? If yes, then you qualify for the Blue Star Vets discount. As part of the Blue Star Families Program, your tickets are $45. Call the Box Office to redeem this discount.

Shepherd University Faculty Discount

As a special thank you to our partners at Shepherd University, there is a special price for all current, full or part-time Shepherd faculty staff members. To redeem this discount, call the Box Office and be prepared to give your Shepherd University email address for your e-confirmation.

• Single Tickets – $25
• Rep5 – $85

Shepherd University Student Discount

Are you a current Shepherd University student? Call the Box Office to receive your $20 tickets.

All degree-seeking students qualify for the student discount. Call the Box Office to place your order and be prepared to give your school email address.

• Student Single Ticket – $20
• Student Rep5 Pass – $90

Theater Industry Discount

Are you a member of the theater industry (including, but not limited to: playwrights, designers, actors, directors, technicians, and administration staff)? Then call the Box Office to receive your $45 tickets!

Each patron may reserve up to four tickets per preview performance.

Preview reservations can be made by calling the Box Office at 681-240-CATF (2283). Preview tickets are available beginning July 1. Tickets are available until the preview performance reaches capacity.

TICKET POLICIES

• There are no refunds, with the exception of canceled performances. We are happy to exchange your tickets for another performance.
• There are no exchange fees.
• If you are unable to attend a performance, you can also convert your tickets into a donation.
• If you need to exchange your tickets, please notify the Box Office 24 hours in advance. We are unable to exchange tickets for past performances.

GROUP SALES

WHAT IS A GROUP?

The Contemporary American Theater Festival considers ten or more people attending a performance a group. Group sales must be made under one account. Groups receive discounted tickets and the opportunity to schedule workshops, backstage tours, and discussions with CATF staff.

Reservations

Please start by filling out the group sales inquiry form, which can be found here. Once received, the Box Office will send an invoice. The tickets are held for two weeks without a deposit. A 25% deposit must be made during that time frame, or the tickets will be released. The remaining balance must two weeks before the group’s first performance. Subject to availability, additional tickets can be added at any time. The original group rate will apply.

If you wish to schedule workshops, backstage tours, or other personalized opportunities with CATF artists and staff, make sure to let us know on the group inquiry form, which can be found here. 

Parking & Accessibility 

All three venues are accessible and bus parking is available. Should any member of your party require accommodations (specific seating needs, Assisted Listening Devices, etc.) make note on the inquiry form or as soon as the needs of your group members are known. The sooner we have this information, the better we can serve your group.

Due to high demand, we are unable to offer group discounts during Opening Weekend with the exception of Sunday performances in the Frank Center.
