Upon request, CATF is happy to provide advanced copies of the current draft of the script, with the understanding that these copies are solely for the use of the individual who has requested the scripts. Scripts are only to be used to help you have a wonderful time at the show and are not to be shared or distributed for any purpose. Three venues are equipped with Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs). ALDs are available at each theater’s Box Office. The theaters with ALDs are the Frank Center, Marinoff Theater, and Studio 112.
Audience members have the option of using standard headphones or loops. If you have a telecoil (t-coil) hearing aid, you can put the loop around your neck, and the loop will amplify the sound using your hearing aids.
Closed captioning is available by request. To ensure that we can provide you the best captioning experience, please let the Box Office know you would like to use closed captioning at least 72 hours before your first performance.
Closed captions will be on a tablet. The tablet is locked in such a way that captioning is locked on the screen; there is no way to accidentally exit out of the captioning or turn the device off.
All three venues have no-step entries.
In the Frank Center, cars are able to pull up on the sidewalk between the Frank Center Loading Dock and the Wellness Center. There are two yellow barriers, but standard size vehicles are able to drive around to the right of the barriers. Drive up to a set of double doors on the left hand side. These doors go directly into the Frank Center Lobby. After assisting the patron inside, the driver must turn their car around park in the Frank Center parking lot. While there is room to turn a vehicle around, there is only room for one car to drop a patron off at a time.
The McCoy Lobby doors (the entrance on the side of the Wellness Center) has a ramp to the left of the steps. The lobby has a wheelchair elevator behind a small brick wall on the left side of the lobby to bypass the steps to the upper level.
Both the Marinoff Theater and Studio 112 have accessible parking in the lot off of Shephard Grade Road and in front of Thatcher and Shaw Residence Halls. Entrances to both of the venues do not require steps.
The Marinoff Theater also has an accessible drop off on West Campus Drive. There is a drop-off zone to the left of the steps. After you enter two sets of double doors, there is an elevator at the end of the hall, to the left.
There are accessible seats held, subject to availability, for every performance that can be reserved online or through the Box Office.
The entrance to the Frank Center is at the back of the auditorium. Seats in the front row (row C) require steps. Seats in rows M and N only require one step.
Each venue also has chairs that do not have arms. If you would prefer an armless chair, please inform the Box Office when you order your tickets or when you arrive for your show.
Service animals are welcome to attend all CATF events. When ordering your tickets, please let the Box Office representative know so that we can make sure you and your service animal have the most appropriate seats.
There are three different ways to order your tickets.
- By phone: 681-240-2283
- By email: boxoffice@catf.org
- By mail: CATF, PO Box 429, Shepherdstown, WV 25443
